Novice Driver Program

Novice drivers who complete our program will receive an official Driving School Certificate.

This certificate allows you to take your road test four months sooner and can also help lower your car insurance premiums with many providers.

Basic

$890 (HST Included)

Most suitable for students who have regular access to a vehicle, adequate driving experience, and are able to practice regularly between lessons.

Includes:

25 Hour Classroom (Delivered through Zoom)

10.5 Hours in Vehicle

Intermediate

$1,190 (HST Included)

Most suitable for students who have some driving experience in Newfoundland, who do not have regular access to a vehicle and who are not able to practice regularly between lessons.

Includes:

25 Hour Classroom (Delivered through Zoom)

15.5 Hours in Vehicle

Advanced

$1,490 (HST Included)

Most suitable for students who have NO driving experience and NO access to a vehicle to practice between lessons.  Suitable for students who are brand new to driving in Newfoundland.

Includes:

25 Hour Classroom (Delivered through Zoom)

20.5 Hours in Vehicle

Please review the following notes:

  • All classroom sessions are offered virtually using Zoom.

  • Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30PM to 9:30PM (Newfoundland Time)

  • There are seven classroom sessions in total (3.5 weeks).

  • You must complete the classroom portion of the Novice Classes at least 3 months in advance of your Road Test Eligibility Date, otherwise you could experience delays.

  • We do not allow booking of vehicle lessons until all classroom portions are completed.

  • It will take 30 to 45 days after classroom is completed to start in vehicle lessons; however, this is also dependent on your availability.

  • We require 48 hours notice for cancellations.

  • You must attend all seven classroom sessions. If you miss any classes, you will complete the missed classes in the next session offered. We keep a record of your attendance and will email you with the dates of the next session.
